Show less Our team in Municipality of Dhofar was commissioned by the Supreme Committee for Town Planning to prepare a Waterfront Redevelopment Master Plan for Salalah.The master plan was intended to be a planning guide to direct future development of the area, addressing the following goals and policies:1. Preservation of the existing coconut groves and agriculture lands along the coast for public use2. Development of touristic facilities such as public toilets, picnic pavilions, parking facilities and playgrounds3. Preparation of design guidelines for landscaping, the renovation of historically significant structures, as well as the construction of new structures4. Identification of opportunities and constraints to the development, and recommendation of projects that can be implemented5. Develop concept designs and plans for the recommendations, including landscaping and landscape treatment, structures and parking areas6. Prioritize plans and areas based on infrastructure and transportation requirements and capital costs. Estimates will provide both public and private sector expenditures7. Review and provide recommendations to protect the waterfront and buildings along the coast from tidal erosion8. Provide cost estimates and develop a phasing plan for implementing the proposed projects9. Recommend incentives for private development to assist in implementing the master plan, and relieve the government of full responsibility for funding identified projects Show less

  My job is at the landscape division at Parson as the consultant of the Ministry of housing (KSA) projects -MoH- Managing, arranging, supervising and consulting all work related to landscape architectural field. Also monitoring and supervising work of contractor from side of consultant. Review design and its correction could be involved on regular basis.To support the infrastructure team in the production of conceptual and detailed designs and associated contract drawings, presentation drawings, schedules and specifications for landscape works within the roads.Work with other project team members to help identify appropriate solutions for landscape within the roads or highways.
