      Debug technician

I started in Jabil straight after college working on the test line testing Cisco systems switched and servers. After 1 year I was moved onto Debug where I used schematics and an Oscilloscope to fault find at the component level. While there I was sent to brussels for 6 months as Jabil acquired the business there which fixed Fujitsu touch screen tablets and Compaq laptops. This debugging was modular level. While there they acquired business in Maastricht in Holland which was involved in modular level debug of InFocus and Proxima projectors. I was sent there for 2 weeks to learn the process of this debug and brought the inventory back to brussels. Show less

      Senior manufacturing technician

Carrying out PM tasks on a range of Photo Lithography Equpiment. Repairing a range of Photo Lithography Equipment including Pump repair, refrigeration units, replacing and reteaching Robots, electrical systems, hardware/software problems. In 2011 I was sent to China for 6months in order to teach Technicians how to complete maintenance on ACT12 machines. While there and in between PMs I aided Engineers with the install of new machines and also taught the new vendors that were coming onsite how to perform tasks. On returning to Ireland I put together a syllabus to teach the technicians in F24 how to perform advanced troubleshooting and robot teaching. Once the syllabus was done it was my job to spend 1 month to deliver the syllabus to 8 technicians. After this was done and the technicians were successfully trained, I was sent to Arizona for 1 year for a help needed assignment. I was chosen for this assignment as I had the experience to land onsite and start with minimal training and run the area and complete maintenance tasks. I was made the PM lead for Litho which meant I was in charge of scheduling PMs and leading a PM team through each PM. After each PM, an AAR was complete and sent out with good/bad findings. On returning back to Ireland, new machines were being installed. It was my just to get these machines through qualification. This included replacing filters as I seen fit to when defects were not passing. Adjusting flows on modules to bring into spec. Pulling modules and replacing parts when needed. Qualifying resist batches when needed. Currently, I am the shift lead on shift D. This involves checking which tools are down and continuing with the gameplan to get it up, running a meeting with engineers and area managers to see what items need to be addressed. Responding to tool alarms and coming up with a game plan to fix the errors. Executing the game plan to fix the error as quickly as possible. scheduling PMs and assigning technicians to complete the PMs Show less
