      Safeguarding consultant

Using over 12 years of experience and as Designated Safeguarding Lead, I’m now offering advice and training in Safeguarding children and adults at risk. I tailor training to the setting you are working within by getting to know what you do, using relatable examples, and training staff/volunteers on your internal processes. This gives a much more rounded view, helps concerns to actually be reported, and stops anything slipping through the net. I believe it is a much safer approach. I also offer organisations support with their responsibilities in safeguarding and best practice. A one-off workshop would look at what your processes are, what you would ideally have in place, and highlight any gaps - ready to then either take in-house, or use my support to implement what you need.I offer retainer fees for ongoing support and advice as safeguarding issues or queries arise. Please get in touch if you’d like to discuss this further. Work can be in person in the North West, or online anywhere else in the country. Show less
