  Undergraduate Researcher under the Maximizing Access to Research Careers (MARC) Scholar Program. Understanding laboratory techniques and research methods used when studying breast cancer. Being able to use permanent whole mounting, Western blotting, cell culturing, IHC and IF staining, and imaging techniques for the purposes of exploring autophagy in relation to developmental biology. Reading and holding discussions on the implications of pre-existing literature and current data. Collaboration with other researchers to better understand mammary tissue, tumor development, and microenvironments. Show less
