      Duty Manager

Work in a 2000 strong University campus Sports facility with primary duties including; running of the facility in absence of the senior management, liaising with other management teams and external companies. Ensuring employees are offering exceptional customer service, making sure customers are happy with the services provided, delegating duties and helping to implement policies, motivating employees, end of day procedures, managing cleanliness. Dealing with customer complaints and issues and overseeing Personal Training sessions and fitness classes such as Circuits, HIIT training and acting as a lifeguard – accrued 200 hours of experience.Detailed duties/achievements; Led the “Body Positive” gym campaign. The idea behind this movement was to remove the “fit” from fitness – therefore reducing the “I have to look good/Beach body ready” image and increase the “feel good factor” of exercise which will encourage people to lead healthier, more active lives. Rewrote the gym membership model to increase sales and total membership numbers – so far has increased membership sales by 30% and member numbers by 25%. Monitored and complied monthly K.P.I reports, which I presented to senior managers in an easy to absorb format showing ways to generate additional profit, increase member retention and boost total membership numbers.
