Manages Engineering on major projects in the Oil & Gas, Mining and Power Industries. He is responsible for engineering coordination, schedules, control of work-hour budgets, interdisciplinary interface, and client contact during Pre-FEED, FEED and EPC phases of a project. He defines project scope based on input from the client and the necessary engineering disciplines to produce an estimate, proposal, or change order. He works with all disciplines to assure adherence to AECOM Project Execution Procedures as well as any other implemented project specific requirements. He will ensure that a quality check is performed on technical deliverables prior to final submittal. He reviews schedules and deliverable requirements and coordinates with the necessary discipline engineers to obtain complete and accurate work products on budget and on time. Show less Responsible for all mechanical and piping design being performed on numerous project and in the Multidiscipline Task Force (MDTF). MDTF was a task force within AECOM, which was formed to handle small projects and "fire drills." The definition of "small" for this group is any project that can be handled without the need to task force lead personnel on a full-time basis. "Fire drills" are those urgent tasks that need to be done immediately with little advance warning. He was responsible for 35 engineers, designers, and drafters. Show less Source Inspector at approximately 50 different fabrication and assembly facilities throughout the Unites States. The scope of inspection covered the conformance by fabricators to drawings, specification, and applicable codes and standards for the following types of equipment: ASME code stamped pressure vessels, fired heaters, shell and tube heat exchangers, aerial coolers, trayed towers, custom filters, pressure relief valves, diesel generators, and fabrication of various structural steel and piping designs.
