      I spent two weeks from the end of April to the start of May assisting the Rides and Attractions team at the LEGOLAND Korea Resort as part of an amazing operational task force team from across the globe in the lead up to the resorts official grand opening on the 5th May.- Ride operational reviews with the onsite team where data and suggestions for improvement were implemented.- Operational support to other departments and with the grand opening set up preparation.

      - Operational project management of the new land World of Jumanji featuring the world’s first B&M boomerang wing coaster as well as two supporting flat rides. Ensuring we were ready to open as scheduled through training, document creation, recruitment and procedure review. - Creating, managing and implementing the CMD First Option ride app at the resort from scratch.- Creating and completely changing our training process through the online people portal function to create a more seamless journey for staff that ensures a higher completion rate and is more user friendly. This included online training videos, online interactive tests and new assessment/competency initiatives in line with Merlin required competency policies. - Managing a high number of direct reports being 1 Assistant Area Manager, 5 Team Leaders and 3 Permanent Operator Trainers.- Managing the overall running of the Rides and Attractions Operation at Chessington reporting directly into the Head of Park Operations until April 2023 and then reporting into the Director of Operations from May 2023. - Conducting in-depth and timely Health and Safety investigations when a breach occurs. - One of the site leaders for Accesso products and management of functions such as the virtual queue operation and Ride Access Pass. - Providing leadership, direction, and management of employees who deliver and maintain the company’s product and service.- Ensuring guest service and safety standards meet Merlin as well as industry requirements.- Working with our Maintenance, Security, HSS, Sales and Marketing, Finance, HR, Guest Excellence teams to ensure a healthy working partnership as well as maintain the upkeep of presentation and protection of the resorts assets.- Responsible for and supports the overseeing of department recruiting, staffing, training, development, performance management, team building and other people and culture initiatives. Also, would contribute to other department leading resort Capex improvements. - OPEX management for my departments and approvals for other operations departments in the absence of the Operations Director.- To fulfil required Operations Director duties and tasks in their absence such as providing resort operations updates and attending senior leadership meetings organized by the Divisional Director. - Organizing, reviewing, setting up and communicating internally IBCCES requirements and tasks to resort and HOD's.- Certified as one of the Resort 1/Park Duty Managers with responsibility for the Theme Park, Water Park, Hotel and Sea Life Aquarium on duty days.
