  Ambassador in the area of Stirling. Engaging with local communities, increasing awareness and momentum for the consultation and campaign making Scotland’s food system more sustainable.Participated in the Good Food Nation Bill Day go Action in April 2022: an opportunity for SFC ambassadors and members to advocate for the bill outside the Scottish Parliament. The day itself enabled over 60 members of the public to interact directly with their MSPs, emphasising the role of direct participation in the democratic process. In addition, our team delivered two online training sessions in the lead-up to the event, skilling up over 30 people on how to address decision makers.While the climate and cost of living crises are continuing to have a hugely detrimental impact on so many, this was also an opportunity to bring together the movement towards a fairer, healthier and more sustainable food system – and to celebrate our collective power for change. These projects seek to support Stirling’s student community by awarding small grants for activities that contribute to University life and enable access to education for students from non-traditional backgrounds.So far, the team fundraised over £100k during a 3-week-long campaign in which I developed my communication, negotiation, interpersonal, organisational and teamwork skills.   Policy assistance and movement advocacy for Save Soil, a global effort to address the soil crisis by bringing together people from around the world to stand up for Soil Health, and supporting leaders of all nations to institute national policies and actions toward increasing the organic content in cultivable Soil. Being accredited by UNCCD and UNFCCC, the on-ground work on which the Save Soil movement is based has been awarded as an innovative solution by the World Economic Forum. The Save Soil movement is also a member of IUCN, and is actively collaborating to seek participation in agricultural initiatives to reduce biodiversity loss.
