  Using Safat Hakeshev - the Language of Attentiveness, pupils in the Eshkol region, from 7th to 9th grades have been introduced to mindfulness practices. Our first pilot involved grade 8 students in weekly 90 minute sessions. We combined techniques of breathing, movement and creative arts to study our abilities to pay attention and to notice what goes on at the present moment, and to develop our skills to deal more resiliently with life on the border.
