  Work experience

  I completed one week of work experience at the Bendigo Art Gallery. I learnt administration skills and how to file documents about the galleries collection. I also gained an insight to the extent of responsibilities of a curator to prolong the life of the exhibits. Working at the Bendigo Art Gallery revealed to me a interesting and different potential career avenue that I could pursue.

  I had the opportunity to complete one week of work experience at the Melbourne graphic design agency HM. I observed and was inspired by the type of projects and objectives an organisation such as this had to carry out in order to meets their clients’ needs. At HM I first saw the prospect of using my passion for creativity as a career in graphic design.

Working at Mass, I contributed to a variety of projects, ranging from design & layout, editing & compositing of corporate videos, as well as illustration & concept development for various animations.

  Jumbla academy student

  Jumbla Academy was a 12 week course where I studied animation and motion graphics at the Melbourne Studio Jumbla. The course challenged me to improve my skills and taught me everything from practical techniques through to tips on the most up-to-date best practices used in a studio environment. The class sizes were very small; this allowed me to feel like I was working under creative director with briefs and deadlines.

  Trunk is an animation production company that creates ground breaking visuals across a range of media. At Trunk I completed a two week internship and contributed to the making of a stop motion project for Cisco. I was involved in making props, designing motion graphics and editing audio.
