Responsible for all contract-related project control matters, including requirement collecting, product/system design confirmation, client approvals, and procurement. Directly accountable for project planning and implementation. Including Schedule management, cost control/cash flow forecasting, risk/issue management, and project reporting. To meet deadlines, create a Gantt chart and stick to it on a daily basis. Coordination with Japanese development team members and detailed user requirements, procurement team for equipment and material procurement, including requests for quotation. Negotiate with suppliers and sub-vendors on the basis of the BOM, using value engineering for the equipment/parts. New vendors were introduced, resulting in a 15% total cost decrease for the project. Monitor product development using Kanban boards and set up working stimulations/prototypes for the product, as well as maintain documentation and approvals.
