  Promoted 7 times over 11 years, my last title was AVP, Lead Manager for Retirement Plan Services (two different roles from 2015-2017). Previous titles included Manager (three different jobs from 2011-2015) and Supervisor (2010-2011). I opted to combine all the jobs here.During my last few years at the company, I transformed and led a 30-person national team that developed and serviced a new nonqualified retirement plan product with total assets over $2B. Starting from scratch, I created the team’s organizational structure and developed and refined processes.Another aspect of my job was directing client services for over 150 businesses including blue-chip companies such as Hyatt, Snap-On and M&T Bank. I transitioned the nonqualified plan client servicing group into a high performing team by focusing on training and reconfiguring group roles to strengthen client quality/experiences.A complex project I led consisted of 15 project waves over 2.5 years delivered to 125 clients. We were successful because we built a talented team; established strong customer relationships and internalized their needs; and revised processes and organizational structure when necessary. This project was challenging and rewarding, and sparked my interest in project management.In 2016, I was asked to take on a leadership role for an enterprise-scale software system enhancement project (Automated Work Distributor or AWD). I oversaw three Project Managers, converted business requirements into a conceptual design, improved internal communication and ensured the project was properly prioritized. Our efforts resulted in a seamless on-time launch that improved operating efficiencies and customer service.Other accomplishments include: retained a $4B client by improving service quality and renegotiating fees; increased effectiveness and compliance awareness by establishing 200+ documented procedures; and promoted value by reducing staff costs and driving business process improvements.   My flexibility, accountability and ability to pivot are assets I’ve certainly utilized in the past six months. Dunbar was acquired by Brinks in August 2018, and it’s been exciting to be part of the merger and integration since the earliest stages. I’m facilitating key aspects of end-to-end integration of the two leading cash logistics companies with a focus on customer experience, risk management, legal, U.S. sales, human resources and re-branding initiatives. To achieve a smooth transition, the integration process is extensive. Early on I created a roadmap and identified stakeholder and critical paths. I’m also using project management expertise and tools to create, track and manage project plans – and then drive results. I have the opportunity to work with a wide range of professionals – overseeing working teams while also collaborating with senior executives to ensure all our actions are aligned with our strategies. I’m also responsible for managing change and developing and directing communication plans. Throughout this process we’re continually seeking ways to expand our customer support and service offerings to better serve our customers. We’re assessing operations, tools, processes and policies at both companies. We’re also leveraging talent, scale and technology, tapping into the best of both companies to enhance the customer experience. I was originally hired as a Project Manager at Dunbar, reporting to three C-level Executives to lead initiatives that would improve productivity, profitability, systems, staffing and asset utilization. I earned an early win that drove significant savings and improved efficiency, consistency and safety of our delivery processes through customer engagement.
