  Labour market analyst

  I was trained by Professor Robert Prior to do Labour Market Analysis for the Vocational Capacity Centre, now part of IMO. I also performed detailed and bespoke Labour Market Reaearch for Ms Jo Muirhead, Founder and Principal Consultant at Purple Co (a Sydney based Rehab Company). This work involved understanding the Education, Training and Experience of client, and any specific medical limitations. It also required a thorough analysis of job advertisements, mostly online, within a given labour market. Suitable advertisements were selected and at least 3 employers for each role called to check if the client (name withheld) would be considered a competitve candidate for the role. A general assessment of Government Labour Market data was included in a thorough report. In locations where employability was challenging research was done on potentially suitable jobs that curently existed within the area and how likely they were to become available over time. In all over 350 Labour Market Reports were completed relating to clients across every state of Australia. Show less
