      Qa lead

As the first QA Lead at Ubiquity6, I used my extensive experience to hire and grow the Quality Assurance team. I was focused on working with product and engineering to create and improve development processes with quality embedded at every stage. This included formalizing best practices around writing product requirements, discussing risks, creating test scope, writing test plans, the prioritization and fixing of bugs, creating release mitigation plans, gathering user feedback, and identifying opportunities to automate test cases. This allowed the team to confidently release a high-quality product at a consistent cadence, while giving users a great app experience. We launched a Mobile app with complementary Desktop web and Mobile web experience in November of 2019, but in June of 2019 the company took a new direction with the goal of solving a new, increasing problem for users mid-pandemic, and rebranded as Backyard.co. I stayed with the company, and began the journey of building the Web, and later mobile, app known as Backyard.co which combines Audio, Video and games into one place. Show less
