Some of my core work tasks included: • Perform carpentry, maintenance, and repair work on various agricultural facilities. Examples include: o Remove and replace metal and asphalt roofs, siding, drywall, and flooring for various swine production and equipment storage facilities. o Pour cement and finish concrete for driveways and patios. • Extend the height and holding capacity of grain bins. Also, remove and reinstall grain bin roofs. • Operate heavy machinery.• Give hundreds of vaccines to swine via injection. Show less

      I completed a 24-hour specialized course in repair procedures and policies relating to the servicing of small, air cooled, engines. Furthermore, the course emphasized how to effectively implement the specialized course curriculum into our own high school teaching practices. At this event, I received five new Briggs & Stratton 1650 Series Horizonal Shaft OHV engines and one new Briggs & Stratton Vertical OHV V-Twin engine. Each of these engines are currently used as a part of my teaching practice. Show less
