  Optus Singtel Telecommunications (Team: Transmission & Access Technology) Role Responsibility:- SME (Subject Matter Expert) for Optus Microwave Technologies, provide technical expertise for Optus internal Customers (Core Network Engineering, Access Engineering, Mobile Deployment).- SME for Network Inventory Modelling (OSS), provide technical expertise for ONPS, BORIS, prepare Modelling Specs and Questionnaires, the lead on User Acceptance Testing.- SME (Subject Matter Expert) for Optus xWDM Technologies, provide technical expertise for Optus internal Customers (Core Network Engineering, Access Engineering, Customer Engineering)- Liaise with other various groups internal (NOC, TAT, SDC, NOPs and FOPs) and external Vendors (Alcatel, Huawei, Ciena, NSN, Ericsson, ZTE, JDSU, EXFO etc), Contractors (Soligen, Connectel, VASP) to provide guidance and to solve problems as they arise to ensure that Optus Networks are up to date with the latest communications technology.- Project Manager for various Transmission & Access Technology Projects.Projects Participated:- Next Generation Technology Tender New Technology Introduction [NTI] (Huawei xWDM): - Next Generation Technology Tender NTI (Huawei Carrier Ethernet Network)- Optus ADSL CPE Tender- Singtel One Network MSR RFT- Next Generation Provisioning Platform RFI – representing Transmission and Access Engineering Department.Projects Managed:- Optus Next Generation Multiservice Radio Tender.o Achievement: Project completed on schedule and within budget. Technical scores for each vendor were compiled as required from technical evaluators and presented to upper management.- Optus xWDM Transmission Network 100G Technology Introduction.- Optus Huawei LongHaul DWDM Network Upgrade. Pokaż mniej Optus Singtel Telecommunications (Team: Core Network Engineering – Mobile Virtual Team) Role Responsibility:- Leading a team of 10+ designers for completion of Network Design for the projects allocated to Core Network Engineering, meeting the project milestones and Engineering Work Order KPIs required. - Monitor, motivate and drive performance of individual designers in order to achieve goals.- Liaise with other various groups internal (NOC, TAT, SDC, NOPs and FOPs) and external (Vendors (Alcatel, Huawei), Contractors (Connectel, VASP)) to solve problems as they arise to ensure the EWO progress as planned.Projects Undertaken:- Proactive Build Phase 1 and Phase 2: A project initiated to expand the capacity of the Optus transmission network to bring the capacity utilization to <80% across major Optus Exchanges and FANs.- Metro Growth 07/08, HDX Expansion 07/08, Project ReNu Phase 1, Lean IP 07/08, Metro Growth 08/09, Broadlink Diversity Phase 1.- Mobile AOP Growth 09/10, 10/11.o Achievement: Mobile design team has signed off 2715 DCD3s for Transmission EOs and 902 HMSR DCD3s from 1/4/09-31/3/10. Total of 3617 DCD3s signed off, compared to year 08-09 which had a total of 1027 DCD3 sign offs. That is >300% increase in output.o Achievement: Total mobile design team sign off from the period of 1/4/10-31/8/10 (5 months, as I was transferred to Transmission & Access Technology from September onwards) is 1328 DCD3/CNE tasks, which far exceeds the agreed KPI of 150 DCD3/CNE sign offs per month.
