Together with my provincial team, we recruited, selected and placed unemployed youths into the Presidential Employment Creation Initiative in community-based organisations to enable them to gain work-related experience. The UNHCR Livelihoods programme entailed recruiting and training vulnerable individuals (PoC) in entrepreneurship skills, employment/job-readiness skills, and digital skills to promote self-reliance.
