Family legacy care, inc.
Aug 2020 - nowFounder & ownerFamily Legacy Care is known for Live-In Companionship Care. Having the right caregivers is key to our overall success as a company. We place a live-in caregiver that can handle the asking needs of our clients and that can build a friendly welcoming atmosphere at the convenience of their home. By placing one caregiver we bring consistency and piece of mind to our clients. This avoids any confusion of having too many individuals in-and-out, no-shows, schedule conflicts, etc. We have seen that our approach helps build a more solid relationship with our clients. We have also noticed a great need when communities admit a new resident. Oftentimes, it takes them a little bit of time to settle into their new home, which can become a bit overwhelming for them. As a result, this can cause stress, behavior challenges, depression, anxiety, the developing of bad habits, accelerating memory conditions, etc. We have introduced a service that we have been promoting with communities in the area. We call it the "from HOME to HOME" Transitional Care. We have identified a demanding need to help new residents adjust to their new home. Most often, new residents need a little extra attention and companionship for at least their first week, or two. We provide a friendly and caring companion who would help them with this transition as they get settled and acquainted with the facility, staff, activities, schedules, etc. The whole goal is to reduce and minimize the difficulty of transitioning to a new home.
