      Process Control Engineer interacts with the configuration of the plant DCS, updating controls to comply with the current requirements of the plant, tuning and optimizing control logics to keep the plant in the best condition. In the process department, the activities include troubleshooting of operational problems using simulation tools such as Pro II, Inplant, Pipephase, Hextran, and others.       In the role of Improvement Engineer and Process Safety Focal Point, I have been responsible for driving the plant’s continuous improvement program and champion the process safety activities. I lead the Improvement Team consisting of a range of specialists and operation technicians as well as being the ‘go to person’ for a broad range of process safety concerns. I am responsible for the LOPA implementation and internal safety standards on site, including audits, self-assessments and projects to close identified gaps.
