  Led a team of 15 experienced clinicians, business and project managers, and contract staff responsible for the strategy and development of industry leading care management solutions. Programs received certification from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), indicating that the development process met rigorous criteria for disease management program content and design. Deliverables included marketing & training materials, health literate patient education translated into 26 languages and provider resources for health plans, hospitals, and large provider groups and emphasized health & wellness topics as well management of chronic diseases (asthma, cancer, COPD, diabetes, and heart failure). Programs focused on the whole patient and emphasized adherence, self management and behavioral change and included algorithms to target specific populations and suggested ways to measure outcomes for targeted initiatives. Served as an Internal Coach for employees at all levels of the organization through the Job Plus Coaching and Energy & Resilience Programs; Coached employees across the US and UK who expressed an interest in career development, conflict management, or aligning their personal vision and values so they could be more present and effective at work and at home. Helped embed a coaching culture among leaders within GSK by serving as a Practical Coaching in the Workplace Facilitator, and other workshops such as Energy for Performance, Managing Resilience and Team Resilience. The Coaching Program earned the prestigious International Coach Federation Prism Award citing $66M ROI. Supported field team via customer rides, direct feedback and surveys. Show less Led the development of Essential Coaching Connections, a 6 module, interactive, web-based training program which provided healthcare professionals with skills and refresher exercises to assist them in enhancing dialogue with patients when collaborating on reasonable health goals and using motivational interviewing and behavioral change principles to uncover barriers to goal achievement.Championed and directly led the identification and implementation of new business processes which reduced cycle time by three months for medical, legal and copy editing approval for program content created by department and resulted in over $500,000.00 in savings.Managed the development and NCQA certification process for Adherence Starts with Knowledge, a medication adherence program provided to health plans, and provider groups to help identify and remove patient barriers to taking medicine as prescribed. Show less Incorporated adult learning principles and creative training techniques to facilitate highly interactive and successful Train the Trainer Programs for healthcare professionals on the topics of HIV, asthma and COPD.Responsible for leading Train the Trainer programs to over 300 healthcare providers and internal regional care managers, corporate health managers and staff. The two sites, (RTP & Greenville) were 5000 square foot client-driven, customer-service oriented facilities that averaged an annual membership rate of 8800 employees at each site.Teamed with human resources, corporate training, health educators, dietitians, nurses, physicians and occupational safety personnel and external vendors to reach 58% of our employee population via educational, instructional and incentive programs.Designed, developed and conducted departmental and company-wide training programs.   Served as a Professional Coach and Consultant, helping a variety of clients work towards goal achievement in their personal and professional lives. Earned two coaching certifications: One from Duke Integrative Medicine as an Integrative Health Coach, and the other from the International Coaching Federation (ICF) as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC). In doing so, I logged over 100 hours of client coaching and mentoring. Also prepared to sit for the inaugural National Board Certification Exam for Health and Wellness Coaches (and became certified September 2017).
