I perform plumbing, electrical, structural, and appurtenance inspections for real estate buyers.   During my time as a graduate student I evaluated membrane processes for the recovery of pure water from highly saline, corrosive sources. I wrote regular reports to the funding agency, wrote a thesis, had an article published, and presented my research at multiple conferences including American Water Works Association.   While at Bowling Mamola Group I worked on a diverse array of projects from senior inspector of the Roop St. Widening Phase II project in Carson City, NV; to serving as the investigator for the Reno-Stead Building Replacement Cost Analysis for Reno Tahoe Airport Authority. My construction experience and education were adapted to engineering through detailed inspection, material and labor estimating, reading and interpreting blue prints, as well as design intricacies. I have observed construction operations requiring compliance with federal, state, and local specifications. Used Computer Aided Drafting (AutoCAD 2012 Civil 3D and AutoCAD 2008) software to design grading plans, draft special construction details, draft plan revisions and as-builts’, and verify plan quantity items. I have used survey data with AutoCAD to determine material quantities in mass excavation projects as well as mass diagrams for verification of quantities. I have written technical reports to public and private entities. I have provided engineer’s cost estimates for construction projects and cost estimates for plan revisions or change orders.
