  Platform-as-a-Product (PaaP) core tech transformation initiative. Enabled modern, fully decoupled software designs and significantly broadened access to cloud native offerings in a scalable, secure, cost conscious and self-service fashion. Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) initiative. Built an Internal Developer Portal platform that provides an “Easy Button'' for provisioning of top requested infrastructure components as a part of regular SDLC activities. Wayfair Storefront migration into Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Storefront consists of www.wayfair.com and some smaller brands that generated > $9 billion in revenue in 2019. The scope included a buildout of 5 net new public cloud regions, a dozen teams and a set of cross functional / cross organizational stakeholders. • Wayfair Australia business divesting. Technical Lead, responsible for implementation and re-architecting of core Storefront components to make them suitable for stand alone operation.• Developed a dynamic service registration system that propagated information about available service endpoints, provided a clear integration pattern.• Created design patterns to streamline configuration management and adhoc orchestration of 100s of different configurations and 1000s of servers. • Developed CLI and Web UI tools for managing 1000s of external domain names. Consolidated 1000s of domains to a single registrar and a single managed DNS provider.• Responsible for automation, provisioning, configuration and operational stability of a wide variety of web stack systems within direct purview (Web and Application servers, Load Balancers, CDNs, DNS, Queuing, Caching and Virtualization).
