  1. Assessments and submission of technical reports in HPC.2. Global stability calculation report for underground galleries (a couple of meter thick overburden) with access to platform level at couple of locations in HPC. 3. Lead a team of 3 for SZC, nuclear power plant - Design Method Statement (SDMS) for the analysis and design of the underground galleries (over 24m deep) - preliminary design of the structures accounting for seismic actions - 4nos 2D sections and 2nos 3D structures - one of which has over 20m tall vertical shaft giving access to ground level and the presence of mass concrete between the shaft and the Cut-off wall posed challenges in terms of assessing structure behavior in a seismic event.4. Delivered other straight galleries SDMS and the preliminary design with a team of 2 in SZC.5. Design of ground bearing slabs supporting overhead lifting systems like cranes and other construction equipment in HPC. This includes coordination with geotech, BIM and RC teams. Drawings, calculation report and risk register.6. Leading a team of 5 to review and accept the changes to the approved deliverables because of various reasons at HPC site. This team is virtually seconded to the site and we are representing the client (to Atkins).7. Supported Issue Resolution Team by creating justification templates and Exemption reports to justify the errors in the reinforcement models.8. Joined Canada Structures team and started with Estimation of concrete and steel for a building and evaluation of existing slabs for increased loads/demolition of part of the structure. Show less 1. In HPC, my responsibilities included design of reinforcement for the structural elements, checking/ originating Global stability calculation reports for the embedded buildings, Construction joint interface shear check, long-term deflection check, Calculation reports, Design Intent Summary reports, independent calculations as per ETC-C and Euro codes.2. I worked on the analysis and design of Weirs and Shafts in HPC using ROBOT tool, these structures have both above-ground and below-ground portions, there were so many challenges in terms of seismic loads, soil properties, geometrical complexities and other Nuclear requirements which we have successfully catered to. We got an award under Technical Solutions category for our work in Excellence Awards 2019 function.3. For the first time, I got an opportunity to lead teams of 3 to 6 members for a period of 9 months to do the structural analysis and design of Power Transmission Platform Structures in HPC, We have successfully delivered 5 technical reports that include the analysis and design of 9no Structures. I have also been the originator for Global Stability Report for all the structures in this project. I had direct coordination with UK and I did QA of all the technical calculations including ROBOT models. Show less 1. I Joined Atkins as a Graduate Engineer and got an opportunity to work on the design of Entrance structures (steel) using STAAD.PRO in Riyadh Metro Package 3 for a period of over 1.5 years. My responsibilities included detailed designs as per American codes, Multi disciplinary coordination, preparation of GA drawings, technical reports, QA, responding to comments from Independent Checking Engineers from Clients' side, shop drawing review. I was also given an opportunity to deliver revision of Entrance structures in two stations along with Multi-D coordination due to the capability, commitment and enthusiasm seen by my Team lead. It was successful with the support from all the team members.2. I worked on Doha Gold Line Project including calculation updates, preparation of technical reports for a couple of months.3. I worked on Middle East Building project, YAS IB for a period of 5 months including load calculations, load drawings, design of slabs in SAFE, design of stairs, water tanks, retaining walls and also preparation of corresponding drawings as per American codes. Been part of design of industrial steel structures, foundation system for oxygen production unit, Independent peer review etc for structures in Quebec. 2. Contributing to the team with concrete/steel design spreadsheets either in terms of originating or checking them and also through short notes of key aspects involved in the design of steel elements with regards to CSA A23.3 and S16-19.3.
