  I'm heading the controlling activities for Vandemoortele's bakery division. This includes coaching the controlling team, managing the full P&L and providing a strategic outlook. I took on a short term project during the first months after the acquisition of a US-based company to facilitate the collaboration on reporting and processes. I helped to establish a relation between the companies and ensured effective coordination and completion of a first wave of financial integration. I managed the finance and controlling activities in the UK. I provided leadership to the local finance team, set priorities and allocated resources to align with the business objectives. In this function I was a key contact for all internal and external stakeholders of the branch. As a commercial controller on divisional level I analysed, interpreted and challenged financial and non-financial results of the biggest division within the company. I was responsible for the periodic management reporting on Europe and export, coordinated their budget process and advised on actions. I acted as the link with the divisional logistic and industrial controllers. I was responsible for the reporting and controlling of a bakery plant and acted as a key person for company-wide projects within controlling.
