      • Primary strategic adviser to the Adjutant General, staff and operating officials on all matters pertaining to the full-time workforce and human resources management.• Supervise 26 employees of the Mississippi National Guard Human Resources Office, who manage the careers of approximately 3,000 full-time staff members across the state, composed of 1800 federal civilian employees and 1200 active duty military members.• Oversee a 173 million dollar annual payroll and travel budget with no deficiencies.• Administer the development and implementation of human resource regulatory policies and procedures to include state rules, policies from National Guard Bureau, Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and Departments of the Army and Air Force.• Act as liaison between OPM, US Department of Labor, Federal Labor Relations Authority and various human resource offices around the nation.• Manage all aspects of human resources for the federal civilian employees and active duty military members of the Mississippi National Guard including: staffing, classification, employee benefits, pay administration, performance management, conduct and career management, employee relations, labor relations, equal employment opportunities, workers compensation and employee development.• Analyze trends in human resources management and budget reductions to equitably distribute resources and ensure mission accomplishment.
