  Retired faculty member in the Kirkhof College of Nursing in the undergraduate nursing program leading to a BSN (generic/traditional program and the accelerated 2nd degree program). Involved in teaching, research/scholarship, and community service. Successfully guided the the implementation of the two initial courses in a concept based BSN curriculum (course coordinator for both courses - NUR 266 & NUR 267). Course Coordinator for NUR 315 in the previous curriculum. Began as an adjunct faculty person in 2001. Entered tenure track in 2005 at the Assistant Professor level. Promoted to Associate Professor effective August 2011. Retired in August 2021, but remained in Fall 2021 to assist with transition/mentoring faculty person taking on course coordinator role in NUR 267 and teaching one section of NUR 607 (Health Policy). Continuing to serve in an adjunct faculty role as a chair and/or committee member for DNP student projects. Show less
