      Youth Worker and Trainer

Tolerance in Diversity also known as TID, was a youth led organization created to build a greater awareness of discrimination and how to deal with the discrimination within the community. TiD fostered tolerance and community cohesion by providing opportunities for young people to address and challenge racism and other forms of discrimination individually and as a community..Young people volunteered and joined TiD because they wanted to make a positive contribution to their community. They were active at all levels of the organizations and become trainers, facilitators, directors and trustees. The TiD board had no member over the age of 22 years. TiD believed in non-tokenistic youth participation and empowerment. Show less
