  I was responsible for relieving parents and delivering a comprehensive behavioural management plan for foster children from toddler to adolescent presenting behaviours and thought disorders over much of the diagnostic spectrum. As a Respite member within a a parent model residential service for special needs and emotionally troubled children, it was critical that I maintain a child’s and home’s distinct programme to mitigate child and parental risks.I was trained in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, First Aid and CPR, and relevant topics to child and youth care.
