      Oversee the general operations of the store as well as the associates of the building. Like Wal-mart, I had to have some sort of knowledge when it came to merchandising, but I mainly dealt with the operations part of this business here. Some areas of responsiblity include, hiring, training of associates, performing performance appraisals, backroom organization, scheduling, & payroll. This stores sales volume was $10 million for the time period I was there. Compared to previous years sales, we were down over 10% in sales due to the store being in a bad location due to new and up-coming businesses in the area. Show less
