  Assigned to the Department's central IT team as a Senior Project Manager to look at IT surrounding the Ministers Offices and Machinery of Government (MoG) changes because of the May general Election. Projects included:-Ministers IT• Provision of equipment and services to Ministers and private office staff as soon new Government announced. • Treading new ground with new suppliers and new in-house staff after 15 years of previous suppliers and processes.• Problem Management, User liaison and management.• Supplier Management including Contract and Commercial issues.• In-house technical staff management.Transfer of Digital Economy Unit out of BIS.• Led IT element of the MoG including planning, risk and issues management, budgets transfer and external systems access.• Managed BIS suppliers and in-house technical staff regarding equipment and data transfer.• User liaison and support.Inner City Units - creation of single email domain to join several Departments together as a single entity without the need for a MOG (Left BIS at the end of phase 1 of the project).• Requirements gathering and sign off.• Resolved IT security liaison and issues management /Records Management issues and liaison.• Liaison with in-house and Other Government Departments IT units re outline solution definition document.• Agreed with all parties road map for future phase of project• Set up Project Governance.
