      • The role requires following various processes to find current problems Using MWS and WCS systems. • I enjoy challenging myself to create and present a more efficient alternative by thinking out of the box. My most recent proposal was that of the OMT Tool build using VBA and automated SQL query run from company database using Excel. This tool use various reports generated by MI team and my own from company database. It joins data from WMS and WCS databases which can’t be joined with SQL due to data are not corresponding. Then tool investigate all orders for any possible problem. Our team then need only fix this problem. This is now being used by the whole of the operations team within M&S Castle Donington and it allowed us to go from hundreds to 0 daily missed promised orders. • I have been again awarded for my VBA skills and advanced solutions I brought to the team. Our team have been nominated for annual logistic award and we are at final stage to choose from top 3 nominations.• Company IT teams are trying to adapt my solutions and create live system where I was part of the change team meetings.• operations support | Paraplus/Blue Arrow | 2012 - 2015• Role is created to support managers in their tasks. To manage workflow at the department create reports and support colleagues in resolving various issues. Even as agency worker I have been awarded by company for many VBA applications I have created and are still in use. • Here I created automated reports, and problem finding application. Thanks to this I have been able to sort all daily tasks within seconds. This allowed me to concentrate on colleague issues. Show less

      • Tasked to build automated reports due to technical limitations of network and software availability. I have built multiple versions striving to achieve better solution. • I have been one person team making reports 24/7.• At the beginning I have created VBA version but since Visual studio code become available, I have redeveloped it in C#. • I have deigned my own database in Microsoft SQL with procedures. Although I couldn’t use SSRS as this wasn’t company supported approach and I have coded all reports in C# and VBA.• I used C#, VBA, Python, SQL (PLSQL, TSQL, ADO SQL), HTML 5, FTP, power BI and more to dig and manipulate data and to create reports.• At the journey to create automated reporting system I have been utilizing Azure SQL, Power App, SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft SQL.• These reports have been interactive widely accessible using explorer and secure.• Argos is using Cobol scripts to run report, and I have built VBA script to execute them using their manual interface to get report.• My program is connecting Oracle Server that is physically disconnected from outside world. I have used USB memory stick and USB switch that have been switched by program I have created to move data across network. (even created version using IR signals)• I have been creating about 200 reports every day. Show less
