In my final year I completed a post-1789 Literature Dissertation focusing on Orientalism in nineteenth-century literature which brought together creative, analytical and evaluative skills developed throughout my studies, resulting in a First for the project.

Pgce secondary english outstanding practice with merit.

My love for English Literature and sharing this with others is what led me to undertake a PGCE. During this course I was challenged to develop my analytical and critical thinking skills, my teamwork and leadership skills and most importantly, my problem solving skills. This course not only prepared me to teach English, but granted me the skills required to successfully and informatively share and explain information in new, creative and innovative ways to people of all ages and backgrounds.
