Information was obtained from academic articles on CT Scanners and simulators modeling the pulmonary system and the liquid/gas exchange barrier to apply computational fluid dynamics (CFD)Produced monthly project report summaries, a final report, and a presentation.• Conducted an extensive literature review to gather baseline metrics for the design for an improved CFD simulation.

  • Composed test requirements and procedures for the testing of fluids components (leak checks, Cv/timing) then evaluated the safety of said tests using FMEA• Performed flow tests across valves and orifices at a system pressure of 300+ PSI under ITAR compliance• Monitored the status of pressure transducers and regulators in a fluid flow system to ensure the tests were operating smoothly• Designed a high-level electronics diagram for a junction box used to carry out valve tests
