      Reporting to the senior art director, my job included searching for images, pictures and fonts for advertising campaigns, as well as photographing and mounting layouts/presentations. Main client of the company was a painting company called Tintas Renner (incorporated last year by PPG Industries) this client’s budget for marketing/advertising was $1,8 million/year. Started as an Intern and left the company as an Art Director.

The most important clients were Miolo Winery (Brazilian Wine Factory) and three Federal Accounts (Water and Energy/Power providers) that were responsible for an annual budget of $ 25 million.

      Managed a team of eight creative and production professionals to introduce a new product in the Brazilian market for client Dado Bier (Brazil’s Top 10 Beer Factory) that was releasing a Premium Beer, with first year sales of $8 million dollars. Also worked with the retail industry for a Fiat Automobile Dealership, where daily promotional ads were released to radio, TV and newspaper, and annual investments in advertising were $1,8 million dollars.

      The main project at Capsula Films was “12 Hours”, a feature length documentary about a famous endurance car race that happens yearly in Southern Brazil. Also directed commercials for television for renown brands like Coca-Cola and TEDx and pitched television projects to Discovery Group, History Channel, and Bandeirantes.

Hero’s main project at the time was the series Coisas que Porto Alegre Fala (Shit People Say in Porto Alegre). Created, written and directed by Marco Carvalho, the series has had over 7 million views on YouTube and was adapted into a stage play, seen by more than 13,000 people over nine live performances. Later, it was adapted into a Sitcom for Globo TV and sold to Netflix in Brazil. In a short period of time, directed commercials for brands like Head & Shoulders, Nike and Netshoes. Show less
