      In this role, I focused on fully managing the local operations related to Technogym, SIDEA & Starpool products, whilst simultaneously improving customer experience & satisfaction. My Key Responsibilities and Achievements included:o Managing the customer service & logistics team of 24 staff o Streamlining internal operational processes to make the departments work more efficiently o Negotiating logistics & warehousing contracts & procuring local equipment for key projectso Managing the global purchasing & consolidation activities for MENA mega projectso Managing contract negotiations with global manufacturers as well as building & managing internal & external supplier relationshipso I also led the delivery of many prestigious projects with the royal family, VIPs, military & government e.g. Burj Khalifa, Armani Hotel, Burj Al Arab & hundreds of UAE military sites, Ministry of interior, ADNOC o Successfully achieving the company’s sales targets YOY by implementing various new initiatives which included both warehouse sales & the introduction of a moving gym equipment service (from any brand)o I also achieved significant cost savings through executing various initiatives including: - Moving all local stock to a new 3PL partner which saved the company 30% in costs - Annually shipping more than one hundred 40" containers from Europe to the UAE using CEVA & DHL contracts- Restructuring the local delivery team to increase the level of service & efficiencyo I also worked on the company IPO application project which was successfully completed in 2016 when Technogym launched on the Milan stock exchange May 2016, personally revising 8 operational processes to ensuring internal controls & metrics were up to standard o Fully managed key military & government projects which included delivering equipment to over 100 high-level security UAE military sites & 5 UAE Ministry of Interior sites within a period of 1 year which made up 65% of the annual budget Show less

      In this role, I’m responsible for leading all aspects of the business for the MENA region as well as developing the growth plan to expand into new markets with a particular focus on the KSA & Africa regions in line with business growth objectives. My Responsibilities & key Achievements to date include:This role holds the same responsibilities as the previous position with the addition of:o Leading the budget planning, management & analysis activities for the annual budget & ensuring annual sales margin targets are achievedo Handling local HR activities/initiatives in line with the UAE government/JAFZA regulations o Regular travelling the MENA region to build key customer relationships within the industry o Fully managing all projects for the region, collaborating with the execution teams & various stakeholders as well as acting as the regional Subject Matter Experto By making cost control a focus across all areas of the business, I have consistently achieved an annual 20% reduction on the OPEX/CAPEX budgeto In 2022 I initiated & successfully executed the full restructure of the Viking EMEA letter of credit/Cash against document process, making it both more effective, efficient & bringing full control in-house by creating a dedicated internal position which subsequently saved the company 50% in salary costso In 2021, I led the successful company office relocation to a new Viking hub (office) in JAFZA freezone to better serve the Middle-East & African customers whilst creating a solid foundation for rapid growth & expansiono In 2020, we were awarded as the best performing subsidiary in 2020 achieving both Sales & Margin targets.
