  My role as the WVA Coordinator was the implementation of the North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) Stop the Violence Strategy. Developing, implementing and evaluating evidence-based initiatives for Workplace Violence and Aggression (WVA) prevention and intervention across NMHS. Providing a risk management and consultancy service to NMHS stakeholders in the management and prevention of WVA, ensuring NMHS is able to meet its health and safety obligations in maintaining a safe workplace.Within my multiple roles across the security industry, the prevention and/or intervention of workplace violence and aggression has been a core role. This has developed into a proactive risk management focused approach ensuring that this aligned with the relevant legislation, policies, strategies and procedures, with consideration of the economic, commercial and social implications of all actions taken. Show less As the Security Coordinator I effectively managed and coordinated the Security operations at 3 major metropolitan hospitals. Performing in the role of Security Coordinator has contributed greatly to developing my skills and experience in management and coordination of not only Security services but across a broad network or related fields within the public sector.Remotely coordinating multiple Security teams comprising of Security Officers and Monitoring Officers in which I supported a strong and capable workforce by providing consistent and reliable leadership.Actively participating at a strategic level in the substantial restructure of the Security services provided by the department, including leading the development of training and education for the workforce and contributing to the review of various other policies relating to Security operations. I have done so within a multi-disciplinary team which includes the Area Security Manager, Security Operations Manager, fellow Coordinators, Security Administration staff, Security Systems experts and over 100 Security and Monitoring Officers.
