  I worked at CVS during an exchange program. I was responsible for receiving supplies, replenishing shelves, helping customers, store maintenance and other operational activities. After three months, I was selected to participate in a layout redefinition project and had the opportunity to work in various stores in the region implementing new layouts in the cosmetics aisles as directed by the corporate office.

  I was elected by my peers as President for a one year mandate. During this period, I led a team of more than 30 volunteers that worked as business consultants for small enterprises in the Florianópolis area. Main achievements included record numbers of: projects successfully delivered, sales, students involved and investments made on the team. We also won the “Best Business Case” Award in the XVI ENEJ - National Meeting of Junior Enterprises. Working in a matrix organizational structure, I had assignments both as marketing assistant, inside the Junior Enterprise, and as member of a team that worked as business consultants for small companies in the area.

  I was the 2nd shift supervisor, responsible for coordinating the activities of a distribution center with 300.000 products, 25.000 SKU’s and 35 direct employees. Delivery was made nationwide to a network of 4.000 stores trough 9 shipping companies. Main achievements were higher productivity and lower turnover rates than the other shift. I also made improvements in the selection process, training programs and periodic evaluations. As a result, around a third of my team’s members were promoted to better positions. Show less
