  When I was accepted to Berry College I heard about a student work program in the IT Department called BITS. I applied and was accepted. This job was very demanding on students as we were required to obtain the CompTia A+ Certification our Freshman year. Then we were required to obtain another professional certification, of our choice, every year. As a BIT I staffed the Help Desk, took work orders that involved networking and troubleshooting, built new computers and managed inventory. I also taught classes to Faculty and Staff on many Microsoft Office software programs. While in the BITS program I also obtain my Microsoft Office User Specialist (MOUS) Master Certification.   I started as a financial analyst and within a few months was promoted to Chief Financial Officer. I soon discovered business practices I did not agree with. I confronted the owner who was unwilling to change them so I left to start my own company, Goodwin Investment Advisory, the best move I could have made!
