Rated in the top quartile of the organization for performance and potential consistently. This was achieved while working for three units: Business Process Improvement (Six Sigma), Health Safety & Environment and Organizational Development simultaneously. Design of new Service Excellence Department that consolidated the IT expertise from different parts of the organization into one unit. The effort was much appreciated by CTO, VPHR and Director SED and was rewarded through “exceeding expectation” performance rating and annual bonus. Incorporating statistical analysis of results towards deeper understanding of the organizational undercurrents which then helped improve the design of interventions for the subsequent cycle. Was recognized by the CEO as the best analysis he had seen over performance and employee engagement results. Offsetting 18% of energy consumption at the organization’s Lahore office through different initiatives in consumption efficiency. This included the design of LED lighting, in collaboration with a partner organization, based on optimized practices for employee productivity and office ergonomics. Gained self-taught expertise in carbon emission footprint calculations which allowed for the organization to offset a hefty amount being paid for external consultancy. Apr 2012 - nowResponsible for heading HR Department – Board Member METRO Cash & Carry Pakistan, Reporting to MD.Key Achievements & RecognitionImproved engagement score from 62% (2012) to 82% (2015), the second highest amongst all participating countries and the highest ever for MCC PK, while reducing employee turnover reduced by 10% ( 32% to 22%) by improving overall working environment, discipline, employee satisfaction, transparency and friendly people policies and procedures. Improved productivity by bring in 2.1% improvement in Sales/FTE and reducing PEX to Sales ratio to 1.67% from 2% in stores. Overtime was reduced by 22%.Improved training coverage by managing a budget of PKR 16.6 million while offering 2073 Man Days of training. Organized International Trainings for 28 employees. Developed internal talent pool which filled 30% positions internally. Maintain healthy relations with two trade unions. Organized referendum in 2015 and gave status of Collective Bargaining Agent to one of the unions. Currently negotiating Charter of Demand.
