  As the leader of a field research team, I oversee a group of 10 Indonesian and 1 German team members, supervised by a PhD candidate from Germany and a lecturer from UI. It is my responsibility to ensure that everyone performs their duties efficiently, fosters a conducive team environment, and manages our budget effectively to complete our research within a limited budget.Our research involves interviewing 1200 people across 29 villages, including 9 in Wakatobi, 10 in Bunaken, and 10 in Kolono Bay. We conduct the Trust Game and invite at least 20 individuals daily to participate in the Common Pool Resource Experiment.   As a manager of a team of researchers, associates, and outsourced staff, I lead evidence-based research projects for various clients.In my role, I have successfully managed multiple projects of increasing complexity, including:DIALOG POLRI: I organized a talk show created by Humas POLRI for 12 times in 4 months. My responsibilities included ensuring the attendance of all the speakers who consisted of police officers, issue observers, experts, NGOs, and ministries. Through this project, I have developed a strong network with influential people.DKI Election part 1 (Before the candidate debate): I organized and managed a team of around 30 outsourced researchers to conduct surveys in DKI Jakarta. Additionally, I developed a computer-assisted tool for Implicit Association Test.DKI Election part 2 (After the candidate debate): Due to the growing complexity of the project, I managed a larger team of outsourced researchers to conduct surveys in DKI Jakarta. My team and I also developed a mobile-assisted tool for Implicit Association Test. Our tool proved to be more predictable than a basic survey, enabling us to accurately predict that pair number 1 would receive the lowest votes, despite the results of the basic survey suggesting otherwise.People's acceptance of the new governor of Jakarta: I conducted this research project before the elected governor's inauguration.My ability to manage and deliver complex research projects has allowed me to build a reputation as a trusted and capable research manager. Our research aimed to understand the political situation and gain insights into the voters' preferences.One of our key findings was the existence of a significant number of undecided voters, and through our research, we were able to identify their trends and behaviors. This information provided a unique perspective that differed from the electability score and enabled us to make informed decisions on campaign strategies.   I lead a dynamic team of research assistants and surveyors, overseeing various research projects aimed at understanding and influencing people's behavior in the city. With a focus on behavioral research, we employ a range of methodologies, including qualitative methods such as Focus Group Discussions (FGD) and Deep Interviews, as well as quantitative approaches like surveys and experimental designs. One notable accomplishment includes spearheading a nearly two-year-long ethnography research project aimed at uncovering the root problems of Tanah Abang Market, with findings and recommendations published in the book titled "Menyelami Pasar Tanah Abang" ("Diving into the Tanah Abang Market"). Our success in conducting impactful research for decision-makers has led to the promotion of our team, transforming us into a specialized unit within the Statistics department. In addition to managing end-to-end research projects, I provide leadership, foster a collaborative environment, and ensure alignment with organizational goals through stakeholder collaboration. It is rewarding to contribute to the formulation of policies that are not solely technocratic and structural in nature, but rather human behavior-oriented, in order to advance research.It is noteworthy to mention that my team has been engaged in the Pemprov DKI project since 2018, initially functioning as the Behavioural Research Team affiliated with Jakarta Smart City. As a result of our outstanding performance across multiple projects, UP Statistik has expanded to accommodate us as a specialised unit with additional divisions and team members, which has allowed us to accomplish even more than before.
